Policy Requirements
We welcome your interest in our school. The Cairo English School enrols students regardless of nationality, race or gender. We collect information from applicants and administer an assessment test in English and Mathematics to determine whether our eductational programme is able to serve an applicant’s educational needs.
Admissions Policy
The curriculum is based on the English National Curriculum in Foundation Stage and Key Stages 1, 2 , 3 , 4 , 5 and 6. The vast majority of teaching is conducted in English.
An ability in that language is a crucial factor when considering the admission of an applicant. The support of at least one parent being able to speak English and able to, therefore, assist their child at home, is a distinct advantage. The School has on its staff teachers who are qualified, experienced and skilled in offering learning support to students who may require this kind of assistance. The amount and level of support is, however, limited and the School is unable to provide the resources to students with severe learning difficulties.
Should a particular year group have more applicants than places available, a waiting list will be made of students who are not able to be placed immediately. Students who satisfy the entry criteria will be allocated places, or placed on the waiting list on a first come first served basis. Preference will be given to candidates who have siblings at the school.

The following documentation is required before assessment can take place. This can be presented at the time of assessment.
1. Completed application form.
2. Original birth certificate – electronic copy.
3. 2 passport size photographs of the adult student.
4. Copy of IDs for one of parents or Passport .
We shall process your admission and update you with our final decision within 72 hours of receiving payment and all documentation.
